Some Saddleback-specific FAQs
What’s BIO 110?
It’s a discussion section. Although it says it’s optional, I haven’t had any student who has passed BIO 11 without taking this discussion section. 100% of my students who passed BIO 11 took this discussion section! 100% of my students who didn’t take BIO 110 didn’t pass BIO 11. (data current through 8/2015)
Do you think it’s important? Ya, go ahead and register for it.
Prereqs for BIO 11, BIO 12
In the course description, there is a website that describes the prereqs for both classes and how to get the prereqs cleared. Please go there and read the information. Next, after your prereqs are cleared you can then put your name on the automated waitlist system.
BIO 12?
You cannot take BIO 12 until you have passed BIO 11 and chemistry.
How do I get on Blackboard?
